Tiger Shroff’s Journey in Bollywood

Tiger Shroff, the son of actor Jackie Shroff and producer Ayesha Dutt, embarked on his Bollywood journey with the action-romantic film “Heropanti” in 2014. This film, which also starred Kriti Sanon, was produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Sabbir Khan.

In 2016, Shroff reunited with Nadiadwala and Khan for “Baaghi,” a film set against the backdrop of a martial arts school and featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Sudheer Babu. Following this, he appeared in Remo D’Souza’s superhero film “A Flying Jatt,” co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez, and the dance-centric “Munna Michael,” opposite Nidhhi Agerwal. Both of these films did not fare well at the box office.

Shroff’s career took a turn in 2018 when he starred in Ahmed Khan’s “Baaghi 2,” a spiritual sequel to the original “Baaghi.” He continued with “Student of the Year 2,” a romantic drama produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, and subsequently appeared in the action-packed “War,” alongside Hrithik Roshan. He also returned for the third installment of the “Baaghi” franchise. However, his most recent release, “Heropanti 2,” did not meet expectations at the box office.
